History of Pride Month

June is celebrated as Pride Month in the United States to commemorate the Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, which occurred at the end of June 1969 and signified a tipping point in the Gay Liberation Movement.

As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBTQ+ individuals have had in the world, and to show support and love for our vibrant and amazing LGBTQ+ community.

While we’re excited to celebrate Pride month, we celebrate and strive to serve the needs of our LGBTQ+ clients all year round. Our allyship is year-long so this month is icing on the rainbow cake!
