Step Up for PTSD Awareness

As part of PTSD Awareness Month in June, the National Center for PTSD is hosting a Step Up for PTSD Awareness event in which anyone is encouraged to walk, run, roll, or scroll in honor of spreading awareness of PTSD and the fact that there are effective treatments for it.

BREYTA WALKS FOR PTSD AWARENESS JUNE 2022

There are currently about 8 million people in the United States with PTSD.

Even though PTSD treatments work, most people who have PTSD don’t get the help they need.

In honor of PTSD Awareness Month, Breyta is partnering with the National Center for PTSD to raise awareness by participating in their Virtual Step Up for PTSD Awareness Walk.

We’re walking to help spread the word that effective PTSD treatments are available. Therapy is highly effective and recovery is possible. Everyone with PTSD—whether they are Veterans, active duty military, civilian survivors of trauma such as sexual assault, serious accidents, natural disasters, or other traumatic events—needs to know that treatments really do work and can lead to a better quality of life.

We’re taking these steps to let you know that we’re here when you’re ready to take the first step in your recovery.
